The history of the Lambrakis group began in 1971 when Efthimios Lambrakis founded the first sawmill and wood impregnation plant in Crete. He brought the wood from the forests he rented in Greece and from the Archangel of Siberia. At the same time, a company named Lambraki Maria is founded, which operates in the field of greenhouse equipment in the wider area of Ierapetra. After 1991 the successors of Mr. Lambrakis, Aris Lambrakis and Ariadni Lambrakis were added and founded other companies with building materials and prefabricated houses. To this day the activities continue in the field of prefabricated houses, building materials, metal-wood processing and construction of metal and wooden greenhouses.
At the end of 2006, the company Lambrakis Greenhouses E.E. was established by the same shareholders, in modern facilities and state-of-the-art machinery for the construction of metal buildings and greenhouses. At the end of 2007, the above companies now form the LAMBRAKI GROUP OF ENTERPRISES.
The goal of the group is to take the exact same steps as it did until now, building daily the human relationships that are the basis of our family business.
